What to bring?

The Grad Portfolio Days venue is an opportunity for students to show off their work and find a program that is best suited for their needs and wishes.

The event is organized by the National Portfolio Day Association in an attempt to encourage students to further their education by presenting them with the opportunity to find out everything and anything about what it means to be a grad student and the programs that are available to them.

Art students usually attend this venue when they finish their last year of college or are in the last year, with the intent of getting answers or satisfying their curiosity. Graduate Portfolio Days are available for all students who have finished their undergraduate studies and have their Bachelor’s diploma.

What to bring at this event? Your portfolio, of course. In the course of so many years of college there have been numerous occasions when creativity made its way onto the paper while you were expressing feelings, emotions and everything in the form of art. Artistic development has only been possible with these outbursts of imagination that have probably left behind many works of art that have at least a sentimental value.

At the Grad Portfolio Days you can bring any one of your past pieces and present them to professors and specialists in the field to explain your vision and get feedback. It is not an exam, so don’t worry about something that could harm your admission to the program you like and want to join. Bring your portfolio with recent work or work made especially for the event and ask their opinion. Everyone will be there to help and give advice on what would make your work a veritable piece of art that can make the difference between you and your competitors.
